Mural in Paris

I think it’s every artist’s dream to have their work seen somewhere in the city — that someone likes what you created so much that they reach out to tell you they love your art, or even want you to create something for them. Manoj saw my art in Devonshire and wanted me to paint for his restaurant in Paris.

This project is located at 9 Rue Paul Lelong, a small side street off Rue de Montmartre. The aim was to create something that matches The Indian Arms retro vibe while inviting people walking down the Main Street.

Vision

A composition strong enough to grab attention, but with softer elements so it still blends with the surroundings.
It took me a while to develop the colour palette, but I’m really happy with the outcome.

Whenever I look at this composition, I can’t help seeing a city landscape — a building and a sun. But it’s abstract, so everyone can see whatever they want
