Hello
My name is Karc. I paint and design abstract. I have 6 years experience of work in art. I was lucky to work on many different types of art projects from festivals to large scale murals. I work and live in London from 2019. My works were exhibited, among others, in Warsaw, New York or Alaska. I love to work with people and exchange ideas!

I was born in Poland, and this is where I did my Master's degree in sculpture from Gdansk's Academy of Fine Arts in May 2019. After graduation, I moved to Alaska and later to New York, experiencing life in both a remote village near glaciers with real threats of bears and lynxes, where for the bus tickets we paid with cookies and the vibrant modern city of New York City.
In December 2019, I volunteered in Eastern Ukraine, delivering Christmas gifts to kids living in the Russian - Ukrainian conflict zone.
In 2020, during the pandemic, I moved to London. Despite difficult baggings, i began painting on the streets. During pandemic street art seemed to be the public's only real access to art in its pure, undigitalized form. Since then, I had completed over 150 murals, increasing small female representation in Street art. London's provision of legal walls allowed me to paint safely and regularly.
My artworks have been exhibited in Dubai( Jumeirah Creekside), Warsaw (18a Gallery), New York( Local project gallery) , and London on exhibitions such as the London art Biennale or Chelsea arts society Summer exhibition, and I am currently represented by 8th Ave Gallery, based in Dubai and Florida.
I have been involved in diverse rage of commercial and arctic projects all across London and abroad in Woodvale Estate, Worcester Festival, Swindon festival, Look up Portsmouth, Off the wall Prague festival or MOS in Athens ranging from painting shop shutters to large-scale murals exceeding 100m², like the one for the local community on Kings Road.
In November 2023, I was awarded a scholarship from the Abbey Murals Awards to paint a 17m tall wall in Hackney. To paint this project, I obtained an IPAF license to operate heavy-duty machinery. Presently, I work as a freelancer, balancing commercial projects with the development of artistic practice.
Since 2023 I am painting walls with Matchbox Collective as a founding member. This is Collective of muralists in the Uk with a goal is to unite artists allowing us to exchange knowledge, support each other and work collaboratively on projects.
I actively participate in WOM, a female street artists collective based in London, focusing on creating a safe platform for creators at different stages of their career. We collaborate on projects, run workshops and organize painting Jams.
My primary focus is abstract art, particularly within urban spaces. Abstract art represents the experience of freedom for me and a perfect tool to capture concepts like “change” or “hope”. I am particularly interested in creating optical illusions in urban environments. Inspired by the modern use of social media and its impact, I like to think of my art as a metaphor of a modern online life. The perfectly curated reality of social media, even if very often not true and full of fake news, holds power to evoke genuine emotions in us. I believe optical illusions can create a similar experience presenting reality that is not true but feels real, capturing multiple realities in one. This concept is something I am eager to delve into further.
